Broadplain Youth Club, Bristol
A small, neglected, grassy-space outside a youth club in Knowle West has been transformed into a natural play area with a unique Robinia climbing frame and shelter. The brief was to create a more gentle, natural landscape where Council Play Rangers can work with local children. Landscape elements include round boulders, new plants with underground guying to prevent vandalism/pulling up, rustic timber fences and contemporary coloured railings. Construction works were carried out by Wyevale Landscapes.
