Monica Trust, Bristol
A new allotment garden for the St Monica residents has been
completed. Facilities for the elderly gardeners include an Arts
and Crafts style glazed shelter and store (timber with cedar
shingles), compost bins, greenhouse, seats, water supply, raised
beds and individual plots. The gardens are sensitively sited
within the landscape of the listed buildings and they are enclosed
by yew hedging to compliment existing hedged gardens.
