Lydiard Millicent School, Wiltshire
AFLA Ltd has been working with local architects, the Bush Consultancy, on a replacement primary school in Wiltshire. The school is being built to BREEAM Education 2008 Very Good Standard. The landscape includes refurbished sports pitches, a wildlife walk, habitats and hide, year 1 and reception gardens, a school allotment garden and an oak framed grass-roofed bike shelter. The proposals were developed in close liaison with the school staff, children, governors and parents.
