The St Monica Trust is developing an old cricket ground, providing
over 200 units for elderly people with a variety of needs. The
scheme includes new cricket facilities and extensive gardens
providing an invigorating landscape for the residents.
The pitch and square have been built and the grass has reached
50mm, ready for the first cut. The square has been laid with
Ongar loam and the intention is that the pitch will be just
below county level in standard.
